A traveler once prepared for an important journey. Unknown to him, dangerous criminals had positioned themselves ahead along the road. Their plan was already established. Their weapons were ready. Their strategy was complete.

However, before leaving home, the traveler spent time praying and committing the journey into God’s hands.

As he traveled, something unusual happened. A heavy storm suddenly developed several miles ahead where the attackers were waiting. Trees fell across the road. The criminals became disorganized and scattered in confusion.

At the same time, authorities unexpectedly arrived in the area and intercepted their operation. What the criminals planned for destruction became a day of failure.

The traveler eventually reached his destination without knowing the danger God had prevented.

This illustrates what happens when God intervenes. Many dangers are stopped before we see them. Many attacks are canceled before they are executed. Many ambushes fail because divine protection goes ahead of God’s children.

Just as God sent angels before Israel, He still dispatches heavenly protection today. When believers engage in aggressive prophetic warfare prayers, heaven moves into action. Invisible battles are fought. Hidden plots are exposed. Evil gatherings are scattered.
