BIBLE EXHORTATION

Beloved, the battle of life is not always fought with physical weapons. Scripture reminds us that our warfare is spiritual, and that God has given His children spiritual weapons that are mighty through Him for the pulling down of strongholds. Psalm 124:1–8

“If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; if it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION

A bird may be born with wings, possess the ability to fly, and yet remain trapped in a snare. The problem is not that the bird has no wings; the problem is that it is held by an unlawful trap.

In the same way, a person may possess gifts, potential, intelligence, opportunities, and divine purpose, yet experience repeated cycles of captivity, frustration, fear, and limitation. But when the snare is broken, the bird does not need permission to fly. It simply escapes.

I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. I belong to God, and no power of darkness has the final authority over my life. Every evil chain holding me captive is broken.
