LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a once-burning fireplace in a home. It used to provide warmth, light, and comfort. But over time, no wood was added, no attention given, and the fire slowly died out. Now it sits cold, lifeless, and useless.
This is what happens to many believers’ prayer altars. At one time, there was passion, consistency, and deep encounters. But distractions, sin, discouragement, or spiritual attacks caused the fire to go out.
However, a dead fire is not the end. With fresh wood, oxygen, and a spark, it can burn again—sometimes even stronger than before.
In the same way, the Holy Spirit can reignite your prayer life. When you intentionally return to God, discipline yourself, and hunger for Him, your altar will catch fire again.
