BIBLE EXHORTATION
Empty effort is when you labor, struggle, and invest time or energy, yet see little or no results. It brings frustration and discouragement. But God never designed your labor to be in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58 declares that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
When God is involved, effort produces results. Psalm 127:1 reminds us that unless the Lord builds, the labor is in vain. This means that alignment with God turns effort into productivity.

LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a fisherman who goes out daily, casting nets repeatedly but catching nothing. The effort is real, the time is invested, but the results are absent.
Then one day, following divine instruction, he casts the net in the right place—and suddenly the net is full.
This mirrors life. Effort alone is not enough—direction and divine alignment are key. When God steps in, even little effort can produce great results.
