50 MFM Prayer Points Against the Spirit of Demotion
BIBLE EXHORTATION
Demotion is a downward shift—loss of position, influence, honor, or responsibility. It can come through mistakes, opposition, or unfavorable circumstances. Yet God’s design for His people is elevation, not reduction.
Scripture says in Psalm 75:6–7 that promotion comes from God, and in Deuteronomy 28:13, you are called to be the head and not the tail. This means your life is ordained for lifting, advancement, and honor.
Even when situations attempt to pull you down, God has the power to restore, elevate, and establish you again. No force can keep down the one God has decided to lift.
LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine someone climbing a mountain, reaching a high point after much effort. Suddenly, they slip and fall several steps downward. The fall is discouraging, but it does not cancel the journey.
With renewed strength, guidance, and support, the person begins to climb again—this time more carefully and with better footing—eventually reaching even higher than before.
Demotion can feel like that fall, but it is not the end. With God’s help, you can recover, regain ground, and rise higher than before.
