BIBLE EXHORTATION
Dreams can sometimes feel troubling or unsettling, but God’s Word reminds you that your rest is under His authority. Psalm 4:8 declares that you can lie down and sleep in peace because the Lord makes you dwell in safety. Also, Job 33:15–16 shows that God can even use dreams to speak, guide, and instruct—not to harm you.
Your sleep is not meant to be a battlefield—it is meant to be a place of restoration. God is present with you even while you sleep.
LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine someone who goes to bed with fear, expecting disturbing dreams. Even before sleep begins, anxiety is already at work.
Now imagine that same person going to bed with calmness, confidence, and assurance. Their mind is settled, and their sleep becomes deep and refreshing.
Often, what we carry into sleep affects our rest. When your heart is anchored in peace, your nights become calm and your dreams lose their power to disturb you.
