Prayer Focus

Bible Exhortation
Psalm 119:62 says:
“At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
Throughout Scripture, God’s people demonstrated disciplined prayer at unusual hours. Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises at midnight, and God intervened powerfully (Acts 16:25–26).
The power of a night vigil does not come merely from being awake at midnight. The power belongs to God. Effective night prayer requires faith, holiness, unity, Scripture, perseverance, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
