Bible Exhortation

While family history can contain recurring patterns, the believer’s identity and standing are ultimately found in Christ. Ezekiel 18:20 emphasizes individual responsibility before God, while 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares that anyone in Christ is a new creation.

I am a new creation in Christ. I am no longer a slave to the past. I receive the liberty Christ has purchased for me. I walk in righteousness, obedience, divine protection, restoration, and freedom, in the name of Jesus.
SECTION ONE — BREAKING THE CAGE OF GENERATIONAL CAPTIVITY

Every destructive pattern that I have renounced shall no longer govern my life. Every chain of bondage is shattered. Every evil yoke is destroyed. Every influence that contradicts the Word of God loses its hold.
I am a new creation in Christ. I walk in liberty. I walk in righteousness. I walk in obedience. I walk in divine purpose.
The past shall not dictate my future. I will not knowingly return to the practices that Christ has delivered me from. By God’s grace, I establish a new pattern of faithfulness, holiness, wisdom, and godliness.
The cage is broken. The chains are shattered. Christ has made me free, and I stand firmly in His liberty, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
