Students of spiritual warfare are aware of the fact that wicked satanic activities are carried out in the night. Evil powers often make use of the cover of darkness to perpetrate uncommon wickedness. But the good news is that our heavenly Father is greater than the greatest, stronger than the strongest and is able to come up with divine warfare strategies that will swallow dark strategies.
The weapon we are considering here is the weapon of the fear of the night. God has given us this weapon to arm us sufficiently to deal squarely with the evil forces. When the weapon of the fear of the night comes upon night caterers and birds that fly in the night, they will be paralyzed and they will not be able to carry out their activities.
The fear of the night is a very powerful weapon. Deut.28:66
“And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:”
THE PARALYSING FORCE
When fear invades the camp of the enemy, they wilt abandon their evil plans, and their agenda shall be frustrated. As a believer you can invoke the fear of God upon your environment. This fear will become the fear of the night. It will get to a point when agents of darkness will be confronted by powers that are greater than them and for fear will not be able to perform their wicked plans.
Evil powers have carried out their activities because no one has challenged them. In the days of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, whenever he invaded any locality with the awesome power of God, it was said that no witch could stay
around thirty kilometers radius near where the great apostle ministered. That kind of power that invoked palpable fear is the weapon we need to make use of today. Since evil powers have vowed that they will continue to carry out their activities in the night, we must also learn how to spread the fear of God in the night.
POWER TO SPREAD FEAR
The fear of the night will be so strong that it will sack and destroy powers of darkness. If you live in an environment where evil birds fly in the night, you can attack them with strange prayer points. These prayer points will spread the fear of the night. The moment the fear of the night becomes strong, the glory of God will spread fear and the atmosphere of the night will be so charged with positive power that evil powers will not be able to operate or attack you.
Beloved, you can actually command the fear of the night to grip the hearts of all wicked spirits released and dispersed into the atmosphere to either harm you or put you under bondage. These are the end times. This is an era where God’s children must take control of the night. Evil powers have done enough in the night. Now is the time when the situation must change. Power must change hands. We must arise and take captivity captive.
The same fear that the enemy uses to trouble our hearts must be sent back to them in form of the weapon of the fear of the night.
