Bible Exhortation
Spiritual deafness is the inability to hear, recognize, or respond to God’s voice. The Bible shows that God speaks, but not everyone perceives or obeys (Isaiah 6:9–10). Yet, God’s desire is to open ears so His people can walk in truth and direction.
Through the power of Jesus Christ, every blockage to hearing is removed. He opened deaf ears and still brings clarity today. As you pray, every hindrance will be broken, and you will begin to hear God clearly and walk in obedience.
Long Illustration
Imagine a person living in a world full of important instructions, warnings, and opportunities—but they cannot hear any of it. Even when help is offered, they miss it. Even when danger is near, they are unaware.
Now imagine their ears suddenly opening. Instantly, everything changes—they can respond correctly, follow direction, and avoid danger.
This is how spiritual hearing works. When your spiritual ears are open, you begin to discern God’s voice, receive guidance, and move with confidence in the right direction.
