BIBLE EXHORTATION

The answer is not fear.
The answer is Christ.
Galatians 5:1 calls believers to stand firmly in the liberty Christ provides.

PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a person walking while carrying a heavy chain.
At first, the person becomes so accustomed to the chain that they begin to believe they cannot move without it.
The chain becomes familiar.
The chain becomes normal.
Eventually, the person forgets what freedom feels like.
Then someone comes with the authority and strength to remove the chain.
The person discovers that they were never created to live permanently under its weight.
In the same way, destructive attachments can become so familiar that a person begins to regard bondage as normal.
But Jesus Christ brings freedom.
What has controlled you does not have to define you.
What has held you back does not have to determine your future.
Where Christ establishes freedom, bondage must lose its authority.
