Luke 13:11-16 reveals that Satan had bound her for eighteen long years until Jesus spoke deliverance over her life. One encounter with divine authority terminated years of captivity.

Others struggle financially despite relentless effort. Some experience strange dreams where they see themselves being fed, pursued, married, or manipulated spiritually. These are not ordinary situations; they are indicators of spiritual warfare demanding divine intervention.
There was also a man among the tombs in Mark 5 who was possessed and tormented by unclean spirits. Human solutions failed, chains could not hold him, and society abandoned him. But when Jesus arrived, the powers tormenting him could not resist divine authority. The same man who lived in shame became free and restored.
