Prophetic Illustration
When King Hezekiah became seriously ill, he turned his face toward the Lord and prayed earnestly. God heard his prayer and graciously extended his life, demonstrating His compassion and sovereign power (2 Kings 20:1–6).
Likewise, when friends brought a paralyzed man to Jesus, they persevered in faith despite obstacles. Jesus forgave the man’s sins, healed him, and restored him before all who were present (Mark 2:1–12). Their determination reminds us to bring our burdens continually before the Lord.
The same God who strengthened Hezekiah and showed compassion through Christ continues to hear the prayers of His people today.
