Young people need examples, not merely instructions.

Teenagers are influenced by what they hear, but also by what they observe in leaders.

A Teen Church Coordinator must therefore seek to model integrity, humility, discipline, patience, compassion, honesty, self-control, and genuine devotion to Christ.

Scripture also says:

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.” — James 1:5

Youth ministry presents complex situations. A coordinator may need to handle disagreements, questions about faith, peer pressure, behavioral challenges, family concerns, technology, relationships, academic pressures, and other matters.
