God never intended for you to carry family expectations alone. Imagine a woman carrying a large clay pot on her head, filled with water. At first, it seems manageable. But as she walks further, people begin to add more into the pot—stones of expectation, sand of comparison, and even firewood of criticism. Soon, the weight becomes unbearable.

This is how motherhood becomes distorted—not by the assignment itself, but by added pressures:

“You must have children at a certain time.”
“You must raise perfect children.”
“You must meet family expectations.”
“You must not fail.”

Eventually, the woman begins to stagger—not because she is weak, but because she is overloaded.

Then Christ appears and says, “Cast your burden upon Me.” One by one, the unnecessary weights are removed. The pot becomes lighter. The journey becomes joyful again.
