Prayer Focus

To engage in aggressive spiritual warfare against every force responsible for weak, ineffective, compromised and dysfunctional institutions across African nations, and to pray for strong national systems, competent leadership, justice, accountability, integrity, wisdom, institutional stability, effective public service and sustainable national transformation.

Bible Exhortation

God is not the author of confusion, disorder or corruption. He desires righteousness, justice, wisdom and faithful stewardship among those entrusted with authority.

When institutions become weak, corrupt or ineffective, vulnerable people suffer, justice is delayed and national progress is frustrated. Scripture therefore calls believers to pray for those in authority and to seek righteousness, wisdom and justice.

Proverbs 29:2 declares that when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. Proverbs 11:14 teaches that safety comes through wise counsel. Isaiah 1:17 commands God’s people to seek justice and correct oppression.

Our warfare is not against human beings. We are confronting spiritual influences that promote corruption, disorder, incompetence, deception, injustice and institutional decay. We pray for the strengthening and restoration of lawful institutions and for leaders who will serve with wisdom, integrity and accountability.

Prophetic Illustration

Picture a great African city with beautiful buildings but weakened foundations. Ministries exist, courts exist, schools exist, hospitals exist and public institutions exist, yet many structures cannot carry the weight placed upon them.

Then the Master Builder arrives.

He examines every foundation. Rotten structures are exposed. Broken pillars are repaired. Corroded systems are cleansed. Missing foundations are restored. Wise builders are raised. The walls become strong, the gates become secure and the people begin to experience order.
