Prayer Focus

Bible Exhortation
The Word of God assures us that affliction does not have the final authority over the believer. Psalm 34:19 says that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
God is able to bring an end to prolonged battles. Psalm 46:9 declares that He makes wars to cease. Isaiah 54:17 assures God’s people that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Prophetic Illustration
Consider a traveler who encounters the same roadblock repeatedly. Each time the traveler attempts to move forward, another obstruction appears. Eventually, the traveler may begin to believe that progress is impossible.
But a roadblock is not the same thing as the end of the journey.
