When the Israelites stood before the Red Sea, their situation appeared to have escalated beyond human solution. Yet God opened a way where there appeared to be no way.
David also experienced seasons when enemies surrounded him and circumstances seemed to multiply. Nevertheless, he repeatedly turned toward God rather than surrendering to fear.
Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength and an ever-present help in trouble.
The presence of trouble does not mean the absence of God.
