Prayer Focus
To wage aggressive spiritual warfare against every satanic power seeking to cancel, revoke, frustrate, invalidate, delay, or interfere with legitimate blessings, divine promises, opportunities, testimonies, and God-ordained purposes.
Bible Exhortation
God is faithful to His Word. Scripture declares that His promises are sure, and His purposes cannot be overturned by the schemes of darkness. Numbers 23:19 reminds us that God is not a man that He should lie, while Isaiah 55:11 declares that His Word will accomplish the purpose for which He sends it.
At times, circumstances may appear to contradict what God has promised. Delays, opposition, disappointment, and unexpected setbacks can make a person feel that a blessing has been cancelled. Yet the believer is called to remain steadfast, discerning, prayerful, and obedient.
Our confidence is not in human promises or assumptions, but in the faithfulness of God. Therefore, these prayers confront every genuine spiritual opposition attempting to frustrate what God has ordained while asking for wisdom to distinguish God’s promises from human expectations.
