📖 BIBLE EXHORTATION
God is the source of the believer’s strength.
Scripture declares in Isaiah 40:29:
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
There are seasons when a person becomes physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually exhausted. Scripture does not teach us to pretend that weakness does not exist. Instead, it directs us to the Lord who gives strength to the weak.
Paul also declared in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that God’s grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness.
Our warfare therefore begins with dependence upon God.
We reject every destructive force that seeks to incapacitate us, while also asking God for wisdom concerning genuine physical exhaustion, emotional burdens, practical limitations, or other causes of weakness.
Ephesians 6:10 commands:
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
Our strength is not merely human strength.
It is strength in the Lord.
