Prayer Focus
Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift before You every person vulnerable to human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labour, coercion, captivity, abuse, and modern slavery.
Lord, arise as the Defender of the oppressed. Expose trafficking networks, frustrate exploitative schemes, protect vulnerable people, strengthen survivors, reunite families, open safe pathways to freedom, and establish justice. Let every system that profits from human suffering be confronted through truth, lawful action, righteous leadership, and divine intervention.
Bible Exhortation
Psalm 82:3–4 calls us to defend the weak and needy and rescue them from the hand of the wicked.
Isaiah 61:1 speaks of liberty to the captives and freedom for those who are bound.
Psalm 146:7 declares that the Lord executes judgment for the oppressed and gives freedom to the prisoners.
God’s heart is against oppression and exploitation. Therefore, these prayers call for freedom, protection, justice, restoration, accountability, healing, and the dismantling of systems that exploit human beings.
Prophetic Illustration
Imagine a vulnerable person deceived by false promises of employment, travel, marriage, or a better future.
Instead of finding opportunity, they are trapped, threatened, exploited, and stripped of their freedom.
Then intervention comes.
