PRAYER FOCUS

This prayer session is focused on breaking destructive cycles of crop failure, agricultural barrenness, poor yields, pest attacks, crop diseases, destructive weather conditions, seed wastage, harvest losses, soil degradation, and every circumstance frustrating legitimate agricultural productivity.

We shall pray for fruitful land, healthy crops, favourable seasons, protection of seeds, preservation of harvests, productive farms, wisdom for farmers, abundant yields, and restoration of agricultural investments.

BIBLE EXHORTATION

God is the giver of increase. Scripture repeatedly connects fruitful land, abundant harvest, rain, seed, and agricultural productivity with God’s blessing and human stewardship.

Psalm 65:9–11 declares that God visits the earth, waters it, enriches it, prepares grain, and crowns the year with His goodness.

Joel 2:23–25 speaks of restoration after agricultural devastation:

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…”

Therefore, we approach God in faith, asking Him to restore wasted seasons, preserve productive labour, give wisdom concerning the land, and bring forth abundant harvests.

PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION

In Joel 2:25, the Lord promised restoration after devastating agricultural loss. What had been consumed by locusts, cankerworms, caterpillars, and other destructive forces was not beyond God’s power to restore.

This becomes a prophetic picture of restoration: where farmers have experienced repeated losses, God can bring renewed productivity, wisdom, preservation, and fruitful seasons.
