Bible Exhortation
Beloved, the night season can be a time of rest and rejuvenation, but for many, it becomes a battlefield. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, disrupt your sleep, and torment your mind with evil dreams and spiritual attacks. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:5–6, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness…” This promise is for you.
God has given you authority over every demonic activity. Your bed, your room, and your mind are covered by the blood of Jesus. No power can harm you when you are under His divine protection. Spiritual oppression, nightmares, and attacks are not your portion. Through prayer, you can resist the devil, silence the enemy, and experience divine peace throughout the night.
Long Illustration
Consider a man who had a recurring pattern of disturbing dreams. Each night, he would wake up exhausted, anxious, and fearful, even though nothing in his waking life justified such torment. He tried everything—meditation, sleeping aids, even counseling—but the attacks persisted.
One day, a friend encouraged him to pray and take authority over every evil dream and spiritual attack. He began to pray deliberately, applying the Word of God, asking for the fire of the Holy Spirit to destroy the work of the enemy in his dream life.
Soon, things began to change. The dreams stopped, peace returned, and he slept with confidence. What had been a recurring nightmare turned into divine rest. His nights were no longer a battlefield—they became a sanctuary of God’s presence.
The lesson is clear: evil forces can only operate where authority is absent. When you confront them with the Word of God and the blood of Jesus, they flee. You too can experience this freedom from evil dreams and spiritual oppression.
