But Scripture also declares a greater truth: through Christ, every curse is broken. You are not bound by your past or your ancestry. Through the finished work of Jesus Christ, you have a new identity, a new covenant, and a new destiny. What runs in your family does not have to run your life.

Imagine a river that has been polluted upstream. As the water flows downstream, every community that depends on it suffers the effects—no matter how far they are from the source.
This is how generational patterns can work. Issues such as repeated failure, sickness, broken relationships, or spiritual struggles may flow from one generation to another. Many people struggle not because of what they started, but because of what they inherited.
But now imagine the source of that river being purified. Instantly, everything downstream begins to change. This is what happens when God intervenes. Through prayer, repentance, and spiritual authority, the source is cleansed, and the cycle is broken.
