BIBLE EXHORTATION
God is a God of vision, purpose, and foresight. He reveals plans before their fulfillment: “Write the vision, and make it plain… though it tarry, wait for it” (Habakkuk 2:2–3). Vision is meant to guide action over time, not just for the moment.
Scripture also warns, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). A lack of long-term thinking leads to confusion, misdirection, and loss of purpose. But God gives wisdom for planning and direction: “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost?” (Luke 14:28).
As we pray, we break the power of short-sightedness, confusion, and lack of direction—and we declare the release of vision, strategy, and purposeful planning.
LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a builder starting a large project without a blueprint. He lays bricks randomly, changes direction frequently, and never considers the final structure.
At first, progress seems visible, but over time, the structure becomes unstable, inconsistent, and unusable.
Now imagine a builder with a clear plan—every step mapped out, resources allocated, and timelines set. Each action contributes to a greater vision, and the result is strong and purposeful.
This reflects leadership and systems. Without vision, effort is wasted. But with clear direction and long-term planning, progress becomes meaningful and sustainable.
