The enemy attacks the mind because once the mind is defeated, the destiny becomes vulnerable. The children of Israel were delivered physically from Egypt, but Egypt still remained in their minds. They constantly complained, doubted God, and saw themselves as slaves despite God’s miracles.
As believers, we must renew our minds daily with the Word of God. God wants you to think increase, abundance, wisdom, favor, excellence, creativity, and dominion. Heaven’s economy is not controlled by earthly scarcity. When God blesses a man, no devil can stop the overflow.

Long Illustration
Imagine an eagle raised among chickens from birth. Though it possesses the wings, strength, and capacity to fly above mountains, it spends its life scratching the ground for crumbs because it believes it is a chicken. Whenever it attempts to rise, the chickens mock it and remind it of the ground. Eventually, the eagle settles for a low life, forgetting its true identity.
One day, another eagle flies high above and notices the grounded eagle. It descends and tells it, “You were not born for the dust. You were created for the skies.” At first, the grounded eagle doubts because its mindset has been conditioned by years of limitation. But after repeated encouragement, it stretches its wings, fights fear, and finally soars into the heavens.
Many believers are like that grounded eagle. God has placed greatness, wisdom, creativity, favor, gifts, and prosperity inside them, yet the mentality of poverty keeps them grounded. Some grew up hearing words like:
