Bible Exhortation
The Bible declares in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. This means that no curse has the legal right to remain over a believer who stands in the authority of Jesus Christ.
Words have spiritual consequences. Balaam was hired to curse Israel, but God turned the curse into a blessing because He had blessed His people. Every evil tongue that has pronounced destruction, failure, death, stagnation, or spiritual weakness against you must bow before the blood of Jesus.
Today, you are not begging curses to leave. You are standing as a child of God and commanding every evil verdict to be revoked by the authority of heaven.
Prophetic Illustration
When Goliath cursed David by his gods, David did not accept the curse. He answered with the name of the Lord of hosts and defeated the source of the evil pronouncement.
