Prayer Focus
This prayer session focuses on overcoming cruelty, harsh treatment, intimidation, hostility, harsh words, oppression, rejection, humiliation, and destructive relational patterns that may be affecting your peace, progress, relationships, or legitimate purpose.
The warfare is directed against destructive spiritual influences and harmful patterns, while asking God for protection, wisdom, righteous boundaries, emotional healing, and deliverance from oppression.
Bible Exhortation
Scripture teaches that God is a refuge for those who are oppressed and a defender of those who call upon Him.
Psalm 34:18 reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted.
Isaiah 41:10 declares that God strengthens, helps, and upholds His people.
Jesus also teaches His followers not to respond to evil with evil. Therefore, spiritual warfare must never become an excuse for hatred, revenge, cruelty, or retaliation against people.
