PRAYER FOCUS

Prayer Focus: To seek God’s protection and deliverance from every form of evil, oppression, intimidation, spiritual fear, persistent affliction, and wickedness attributed to witchcraft powers, while standing firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ and the promises of God’s Word.

These prayers are directed toward God for protection, freedom, wisdom, peace, and victory rather than toward retaliation against any individual.

BIBLE EXHORTATION

The Bible teaches that believers should place their confidence in God rather than live in fear of evil powers.

Psalm 27:1 declares:

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?”

The believer’s confidence is not in human strength, charms, rituals, or the ability to identify supposed enemies. Our confidence is in God Almighty.

James 4:7 instructs believers to submit themselves to God and resist the devil.

Ephesians 6:10–11 calls us to be strong in the Lord and to put on the whole armor of God.

PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION

Imagine a traveler walking through a dark forest at night. The darkness makes every sound appear frightening. The traveler becomes increasingly afraid because he cannot see clearly.

Then a powerful light is switched on.

The forest has not necessarily changed, but the traveler can now see the path, identify obstacles, avoid danger, and continue walking without the same fear.

In the same way, God’s Word gives light and direction when circumstances appear frightening or confusing.

Psalm 119:105 says that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

The lesson is simple:
