BIBLE EXHORTATION

LONG ILLUSTRATION

There was a man who lost everything—his job, his home, and even the respect of people around him. He stopped praying because he felt God had forgotten him. One day, he went to sit by the ocean, planning to give up completely.

An old preacher sat beside him and threw a small stone into the water. Then he said, “Did you see the ripples? That is what discouragement does—it spreads everywhere when it is allowed. But watch this.”

He threw a bigger stone, and the ripples were even stronger. Then he said, “Now watch the tide.” The waves came back stronger than before.

The preacher said, “No matter how far life pushes you back, God’s tide of restoration will always return stronger.”

That man got up, prayed again, and his life was restored within a year.
