God does not measure human worth according to the world’s beauty standards.
1 Samuel 16:7 teaches that while people look at outward appearance, God looks at the heart.
Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are wonderfully made.
This does not mean that personal appearance, grooming, health, or presentation are unimportant. Rather, they must never become the foundation of identity or worth.
Unrealistic beauty standards can create an exhausting cycle:
comparison → dissatisfaction → self-rejection → desperate attempts to change → temporary approval → renewed comparison.
Christ offers a different foundation.
Our value comes from God, not from:
