One day, a skilled rescuer discovered the hidden ropes. Instead of teaching the eagle to flap harder, he first removed every restraint. The moment the ropes were cut, the eagle immediately soared into the heavens as it was originally created to do.
Many believers experience something similar in life. They pray, work diligently, and trust God, yet feel held back by persistent spiritual struggles or recurring patterns. Scripture teaches that Christ came to set captives free. Through repentance, faith, obedience, and His finished work on the cross, every sinful bondage can be broken, every oppressive influence can be overcome, and God’s purpose can flourish in a believer’s life.
