BIBLE EXHORTATION: THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER OVER OPPRESSION
The Bible reveals that the child of God is not helpless before spiritual opposition. Satan may rage, but he is not greater than the authority of Jesus Christ. Evil may threaten, but the power of God is stronger. The enemy may attempt to bring fear, confusion, oppression, bondage, delay, affliction, and discouragement, but the believer has been given spiritual authority through the name of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
This means that the believer does not fight from a position of defeat but from the victory already won through Christ. The cross of Jesus Christ defeated the power of sin, Satan, and every force of darkness. The resurrection of Christ demonstrated that the power of God is greater than every power that opposes His people.
Raging spiritual opposition must not become a reason for fear. Satanic oppression must not become a permanent identity. Affliction must not become your destiny. The Lord is the Deliverer of His people. He breaks chains, destroys yokes, restores peace, and brings His children out of the power of darkness.
When you pray these deliverance prayers, pray with faith in God—not with fear of the enemy. Your confidence is not in the loudness of your voice, the length of your prayer, or your personal strength. Your confidence is in Jesus Christ, whose name is above every name.

PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION: THE STORM THAT COULD NOT DESTROY THE SHIP
Imagine a ship traveling across a large sea. Suddenly, a violent storm begins to rage. The wind becomes fierce, the waves rise, and the darkness becomes intense. From the human perspective, it appears that the ship is about to be destroyed.
But the storm does not own the sea.
The storm may be loud, but it is temporary. The storm may be powerful, but it has limits. The storm may shake the ship, but it cannot overcome the authority of the One who commands the wind and the waves.
In the same way, there may be seasons when satanic oppression appears to be raging against a person’s life. Fear may increase. Confusion may rise. Problems may seem to come from every direction. But the raging storm does not mean that God has abandoned His child.
Jesus is still Lord over the storm.
The enemy may rage, but God remains sovereign. Darkness may surround you, but the light of God is greater. The enemy may attempt to oppress you, but the power of Jesus Christ is greater than every power of darkness.
Therefore, do not surrender to fear. Call upon the Lord. Stand upon His Word. Trust His power. The same God who delivered Daniel from the lions, the three Hebrew men from the fiery furnace, and Peter from prison is still able to deliver His people today.
The storm will not have the final word.
