BIBLE EXHORTATION

Psalm 2:4 declares that the One enthroned in heaven laughs at the rebellious schemes of the enemy. The devil may make threats, but he does not have the final authority over the children of God.
The downfall of Goliath demonstrates this truth. Goliath boasted, threatened Israel, and trusted in his physical strength and weapons. David, however, trusted in the name of the Lord. The boast of the enemy was louder than David’s voice, but God’s power was greater than Goliath’s confidence.
