Prayer Focus

Jesus commanded His disciples to go into all nations and make disciples. A church planter must therefore combine prayer with faithful labor. There will be seasons of resistance, financial pressure, slow growth, misunderstanding, and spiritual warfare. Yet Galatians 6:9 reminds believers not to become weary in doing good.

Prophetic Illustration

Consider a farmer who receives a small seed and plants it in previously uncultivated ground. At first, nothing may appear to be happening beneath the soil. The farmer must continue watering, protecting, cultivating, and waiting.

Eventually, the seed breaks through the ground, develops roots, grows into a plant, and produces fruit.
