2. BIBLE EXHORTATION
A widow raising children alone may sometimes feel that the burden is too great, but Scripture reveals that God has a special concern for the widow and the fatherless.
Psalm 68:5 describes God as “a father to the fatherless, and a judge of the widows.”
This means that widowhood does not remove divine covering. The absence of an earthly husband does not mean the absence of a heavenly Father.

The Widow’s Little Oil

What looked insignificant became the beginning of supernatural multiplication.
The prophet instructed her to gather vessels. She obeyed. She poured the oil, and the oil continued flowing until every available vessel was filled.
