BIBLE EXHORTATION
Agricultural loss—whether in farming, business, or life’s “seed and harvest” processes—represents wasted effort, destroyed investment, and diminished returns. God’s design, however, is preservation and increase. Deuteronomy 28:12 speaks of the Lord blessing the work of your hands and opening His good treasure.
The Bible also shows that harvest can be attacked. Joel 1:4 describes devourers that consume crops. Yet God promises restoration in Joel 2:25—what was eaten or destroyed can be restored.
You are not ordained for loss; you are ordained for increase, preservation, and abundance.
LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a farmer who carefully plants seeds, waters them, and nurtures the crops. Just before harvest, pests invade, or a storm destroys the field. Months of labor are lost in a short time.
Now imagine the same farm protected—healthy soil, timely rain, no pests, and divine preservation. At harvest time, the yield is abundant and satisfying.
This is how life works. Your efforts are seeds. Without protection, loss can occur. But when God covers your “field,” your harvest is preserved and multiplied.
