BIBLE EXHORTATION
Depression can feel like a heavy cloud—draining energy, joy, and motivation. Yet God’s Word consistently points to hope and restoration. Psalm 42:11 speaks directly to the soul: “Why art thou cast down… hope thou in God.” Also, Isaiah 61:3 promises the garment of praise in place of heaviness.
This does not mean you should ignore what you feel. It means your feelings are not the final authority. God invites you into a process of healing—spiritually, emotionally, and practically. You are not meant to remain under that weight.
LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine walking through a long tunnel. It feels dark, endless, and isolating. At some point, you might think there is no way out.
But tunnels are designed with an exit. Even if you cannot see it yet, it exists.
