BIBLE EXHORTATION
Evil guidance is any influence—spiritual or human—that leads a person away from God’s will into error, confusion, or destruction. The Bible warns in Psalm 1:1 against walking in the counsel of the ungodly, showing that wrong guidance can shape wrong outcomes.
God, however, promises divine direction. In Isaiah 30:21, He assures, “This is the way, walk in it.” The Holy Spirit is your true Guide, leading you into truth and purpose.
Not every voice should be followed. Discernment is key. When you are led by God, you walk in safety, clarity, and fulfillment.
LONG ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a traveler relying on a guide to reach a destination. If the guide is trustworthy, the journey is safe and successful. But if the guide is deceptive or misinformed, the traveler may be led into dangerous terrain, wrong routes, or dead ends.
Many people suffer not because they lack effort, but because they are following the wrong guidance—voices, influences, or impulses that appear right but lead wrongly.
But when God becomes your Guide, He leads you through the safest and most accurate path. His direction may not always be the easiest, but it is always the best.
