Beloved in Christ, today we focus on the crucial virtue of consistency in our walk with God. The Bible reminds us that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8). Inconsistency breeds stagnation, hinders our spiritual growth, and prevents us from fully realizing God’s purpose for our lives. The enemy often attacks our resolve, seeking to make us waver in our commitments to prayer, Bible study, service, and obedience. But God desires steadfastness from us. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He calls us to reflect His unwavering character. Let us therefore cast off every spirit of fickleness and embrace the discipline of consistent devotion, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Heavenly Father, we come before You acknowledging our weaknesses and failures in maintaining consistency in our spiritual lives. We confess that we have been easily distracted, prone to procrastination, and often swayed by our emotions and circumstances. We have started well but have not always finished strong. We have made commitments to You and to Your church but have not always followed through.
