Beloved, we live in a world where spiritual battles are real. The Bible clearly teaches us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places¹ (Ephesians 6:12). One of the insidious forces we must stand against is the spirit of witchcraft, which seeks to manipulate, control, and destroy the destinies of God’s people. Today, we are called to be vigilant, to put on the whole armor of God, and to wield the powerful weapon of prayer against this evil. Remember, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you, a mighty warrior who will fight for you. Let us rise up in faith and declare victory over every work of darkness, in Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before you acknowledging our dependence on you. We confess that we have not always been as vigilant as we should have been against the wiles of the enemy. We confess any areas in our lives where we may have unknowingly given access to the spirit of witchcraft through fear, doubt, disobedience, or engagement in ungodly practices. Forgive us, Lord. We renounce every association with darkness and every agreement with the powers of witchcraft. We declare that we are children of the light, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We confess that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment we condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We² declare that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named,³ not only in this age but also in that which is⁴ to come (Ephesians 1:20-21). We confess that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare our victory in Christ Jesus, in Jesus name, Amen.
