Bible Exhortation

Midnight is often presented in Scripture as a time of prayer, divine intervention, and spiritual alertness. The believer is called to remain watchful, steadfast, and rooted in the power of God rather than living in fear. The battle against evil is ultimately a battle of faith, truth, righteousness, prayer, and dependence upon the victory of Jesus Christ.

Prophetic Illustration

Imagine a city surrounded by darkness, with many false lights shining from different places. The people inside the city are afraid because they cannot see clearly. Then, suddenly, a great light rises from the center of the city, and the darkness begins to disappear. The false lights lose their influence, and the people discover that the darkness was never stronger than the light.

In the same way, the believer may face opposition, fear, ungodly influences, or persistent spiritual pressure. But the presence of God is greater than every power of darkness. The answer is not panic but prayer; not fear but faith; not revenge but dependence on the righteous judgment and power of God.
