PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a heavily fortified city whose gates have stood for generations. The inhabitants have become accustomed to the walls, believing that nobody can enter or leave without permission.
Then a greater King arrives with authority greater than the city ruler. The gates cannot withstand His command. The walls cannot resist His power. The authority of the former ruler is broken.
In the same way, some spiritual battles can appear longstanding and immovable. But the power of Christ is greater than every satanic structure. When God’s light enters a situation, darkness cannot maintain its dominion.
Isaiah 60:1–2 declares that while darkness may cover the earth, the glory of the Lord rises upon His people.
