PRAYER FOCUS

BIBLE EXHORTATION
God is a God of seasons and times. There are things that were appropriate for yesterday but are not designed to govern tomorrow. Spiritual maturity requires discernment to recognize when God is bringing a new season.
Isaiah 43:18–19 declares that we should not remain fixated on former things because God can do a new thing. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is a season for every purpose under heaven. Philippians 3:13–14 teaches us to forget those things that are behind and press toward the mark.
A person can remain physically present in a new season while mentally, spiritually, emotionally, or strategically operating according to an old season.
Therefore, these prayers are a prophetic cry for the destruction of every expired pattern and backward cycle and for divine grace to recognize, enter, and maximize the season God has prepared.
PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION
A farmer cannot continue planting forever when the appointed time for harvest has arrived. If he refuses to recognize the season, he may remain busy while missing the fruit of his labor.
Likewise, a person can keep repeating yesterday’s methods, maintaining expired relationships, following outdated thinking, returning to old mistakes, and remaining comfortable with familiar limitations while God is calling them forward.

Isaiah 43:18–19
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth…”
This passage is a prophetic reminder that God is not limited to what He has done previously. He can introduce a new chapter, new direction, new opportunities, and new manifestations of His purpose.
The believer must therefore refuse to allow former limitations to become permanent definitions of the future.
CONFESSION
