Prophetic Illustration
During a severe famine, God commanded ravens to feed Elijah morning and evening by the Brook Cherith. When the brook dried up, the Lord redirected him to the widow of Zarephath, whose small supply of flour and oil did not run out throughout the famine because of God’s miraculous provision (1 Kings 17:1–16).
Likewise, when thousands gathered to hear Jesus with no food available, He blessed five loaves and two fish, and they multiplied until everyone ate and there were baskets left over (Matthew 14:13–21).
