In 2 Kings 6, the king of Syria sent horses, chariots, and a great army to capture Elisha. Humanly speaking, Elisha and his servant were surrounded and helpless. The servant panicked when he saw the physical army.

But Elisha understood a higher spiritual reality.

He prayed, “Lord, open his eyes.”

Immediately, the servant saw mountains full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding them. Though enemies had gathered physically, heaven had already deployed superior forces.

This story teaches us that God’s protection is greater than every terrorist network, every bloodthirsty gang, every violent conspiracy, and every hidden agenda of darkness.

Nigeria and the nations of the earth need believers who can see beyond physical events and engage heaven’s armies through prayer. When believers pray aggressively, angelic assistance is released, evil plans are frustrated, and divine intervention manifests.
