Prayer Focus

Prophetic Illustration
Joseph received dreams from God as a young man, but those dreams seemed impossible after betrayal by his brothers, slavery, and imprisonment. Yet Joseph remained faithful to God. In His perfect timing, the Lord lifted him from prison to become governor over Egypt, and every promise God had spoken came to pass (Genesis 37; Genesis 41).
Likewise, Naomi returned to Bethlehem believing her future was empty after losing her husband and sons. Through God’s providence, Ruth married Boaz, the family line was restored, and Naomi became the grandmother of Obed, an ancestor of King David and ultimately of Jesus Christ (Ruth 4:13–17).
