PRAYER FOCUS

Thanksgiving is not merely a response to receiving a miracle. It is also an expression of faith, trust, remembrance, humility, and recognition that every good gift ultimately comes from God.
BIBLE EXHORTATION
Psalm 100:4 says:
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Thanksgiving changes our focus from what is missing to what God has already done.
The ten lepers in Luke 17 received healing, but only one returned to give thanks. His return demonstrated that he understood the importance of recognizing the source of his blessing.
Psalm 103:2 declares:
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”
A grateful heart remembers.
When God answers prayer, we should not rush past the testimony. We should return with praise, give God the glory, acknowledge His mercy, and use every testimony as an opportunity to strengthen our faith.
PROPHETIC ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a person standing beside a memorial stone.
Every time they look at it, they remember a difficult season that God brought them through.
The stone does not create the miracle; it simply reminds them of the miracle.
