Imagine a young soldier placed under a great commander in an elite army. This soldier is gifted, strong, and intelligent. But each time instructions are given, he rolls his eyes, ignores orders, and talks back with arrogance.
At first, the commander warns him. Then he disciplines him. But the soldier refuses correction, believing his strength is enough.
Eventually, during a critical battle, the commander assigns roles—but excludes the proud soldier from strategic positions. Not because he lacks ability, but because he lacks submission.
That soldier remains in the army—but never rises in rank. Not because he is weak, but because he is disrespectful.
