LONG ILLUSTRATION
There was a man stationed as a night guard in a wealthy estate. His job was simple—stay awake and protect the property. But every night, he would sit under a warm blanket, telling himself, “Just five minutes of rest won’t hurt.”
One night, while he was deeply asleep, thieves entered the compound, stole valuables, and escaped without resistance. The next morning, the guard woke up to chaos and regret.
Spiritually, that is how spiritual slumber operates. It does not destroy immediately—it lulls, delays, and weakens alertness until destiny is compromised. Many believers are not attacked by open warfare—they are simply asleep while battles are going on.
But today, God is sounding a trumpet: AWAKE!
